2012 Race/Event Information and Registration

Thank you to everyone who helped make 2011 a great success! We were excited not only about the success of our event, but also about the many advances in melanoma treatments that were made in 2011. Let's make it another awesome year in 2012 for melanoma research!
About The Event: This event features two different family-friendly events that participants can choose from. You can elect to participate in either:
A 5K Timed Race/Run (3.1 miles, no strollers) or
A 3K Fun Walk (2 miles, non-competitive, non-timed, strollers welcome)
Awards: Overall Top Female and Overall Top Male. Individual awards are also given to the top 3 female and top 3 males in each age group. Chip Timing is going to be used to ensure accurate results.
Age Groups:
- 10 and under - 30-34
- 11-12 - 35-39
- 13-14 - 40-44
- 15-19 - 45-49
- 20-24 - 50-54
- 25-29 - 55-59
- 60+
Again in 2012 - All kids 12 & under receive a participation ribbon!
Cost: Adults - $20 before June 9; $25 after June 9.
Kids Ages 7-14 - $10
Kids 6 & under - FREE
About The Course: The course is a scenic route through and around quiet Spring Brook Resort and along rural country roads, with little traffic. It is a single loop course (no double loops and no doubling back).

Registration: Available online at active.com or,mail in a form (if it's last year's form, no worries - we will still accept it - this year's form is being produced.
Pre-registration ends June 9. Day-of Registration is available on event day from 7 - 8:15 a.m.
While we make an effort to see that everyone gets a t-shirt, we can only guarantee shirts and sizes to pre-registrants.
